Last October, I was so excited to make a visit to my dear, sweet, amazing, friend Megs, in Utah. Meg and I have known each other for 3 years or so now, and have had such a special relationship. I am so blessed to know her and she is an awesome fine art, wedding photographer. She inspires me and keeps me thinking like a young bride of this generation would. We have worked together literally all over the world, and I must say I miss her terribly. I am so glad we have airplanes that can transport us to wherever, and whenever, we want to go. While on my visit, of course we had to plan a shoot together. She was the main photographer on this project, but I just had to snap a few of this beautiful couple and concept. We shot the whole of the inside table, cake, and details, in her beautiful, awesome studio, and the outside surrounding area. Then for the last half of the shoot we headed to the mountains surrounding Heber City for the dynamic coloring of Fall. What a spectacular day and we were so honored to have our gown from Claire LaFaye Designs! Seriously, I want to be re-married in a black wedding gown just like this! Our cake was designed by the scrumptious LeLoup Cakery from Salt Lake City! The flowers were divinely designed by Soil & Stem, also from Salt lake City. The stunning headpiece was designed by Emici Livet, thank-you Marie from Spokane, Washington! All our dishes and glassware, courtesy of Anthropologie! Katie Leute Designs so beautifully hand designed our table menus and pretty invites and you are all in luck because she is also from Spokane. It was somewhat scary styling a shoot from so far away, but Megs helped 100 percent, and wow, I am overjoyed at how beautiful all this inspiration came together! Fall is fast becoming my favorite time of the year in the wedding industry. Enjoy all the gorgeous yumminess of these inspirations!
