I just love the color black. My mind has been thinking on this shoot for a great long while, and it is finally here. I really want to photograph a wedding where my bride wears black. I would if I was getting married again, because it is classic, it is timeless, and it is extremely flattering on any figure type. I also adore blackberries, and picking them and eating them especially! GreenBluff is full of blackberry orchards and we graciously were invited to shoot our inspirations on the grounds of Bodacious, Berries, Fruits, and Brews. What an amazing piece of property with all of its crops so beautifully dotting the landscape. We adored the high walls of hops for our table set-up. The beautiful light came sparkling through as if we just placed it there ourselves. Our gorgeous gown was a vintage dress from the 40’s from Shop Gossamer, with sleeves that were to die for. We added a beautiful tulle skirt, with a sweeping train, purchased from Ganna at the Hidden Room on Etsy. Her work is amazing and I am so grateful to have found her.
Our table was graced with chiffon white and soft gray linens. We used white dishes to compliment the black, and soft grey cheesecloth napkins. I loved the blackberry, fig, and cheese tray so much. We also staged a gorgeous edible floral, and blackberry leafy salad. It was seriously so pretty and fresh. I wanted my model to be longingly picking her berries and admiring the beautiful hops growing in tall rows above her head. She would be thinking of her amazing day, and what it would look like one day. She would be running through the beautiful orchards, giving care to nothing around her but her fantasy’s of life and the things to come. GreenBluff is truly a magical place and when the sun sets, you can see the west forever. The fields yield themselves to a golden hue like no where else, and it is so beautiful. Our gorgeous floral’s were designed and created by Eden at Garden of Eden Floral Design. I truly believe that Eden is a fairy godmother. She captures my vision every time! All styling was created by Romancing the Stone Styling, and all goodies were made in the kitchen of Belle by muah! I hope this pretty little inspiration will inspire you to think of your wedding day in a whole new way! Now go get married in and orchard, and wear BLACK!
